ABOUT V-24-I
The V-24-I is a four seater aircraft of composite construction. The aircraft is arranged as a twin pusher engine low wing mono-plane with one-piece wing and T-empennage. The aircraft incorporates a tricycle retractable landing gear with steerable nose gear.
V-24-I is equipped with two reliable low-consumption Mogas engines Rotax 912 (100 h.p.) (These engines may use both, automobile with octane grade 95), which in combination with three-blade swept, auto feather pusher propellers MT-Propeller with changeable pitch in flight makes a great impression. They are powerful and low-consumption at the same time.
Airframe made from composite materials with foam core and epoxy resin using vacuum technology. All materials used in the constructions correspond to Aviation requirements or DIN
Wing
One-piece trapezoid wing with vertical winglet incorporates conventional fully balanced ailerons and two-slotted flaps.
Empennage
The aircraft is provided with T-empennage.
Fixed stabilizer with hinged elevator. Conventional vertical tail – fin, underfin and rudder.
Landing gear
Tricycle retractable landing gear with steerable nose gear.
Brakes
Split brakes. The main wheels have hydraulic disc brakes which are controlled via toe pedals installed to the rudder control pedals.
